Welcome to the Global Eye Care website, mobile application, related sites, and digital and online services (“Global Eye Care Website”, “Site” or “Sites”), an e-commerce, information and communications service provided by Global Eye Care and all of its affiliated entities (“Global Eye Care”, “we”, “us” or “our”).

In addition to this Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”), users of the Global Eye Care Website should refer to the Global Eye Care Website Terms of Use and any product-specific terms and conditions. You may review policies that specifically relate to patient information (protected health information) provided through the Global Eye Care Online Patient Portal.

Information We Collect:-

Information You Provide to Us: We respect the right to privacy of all visitors to Global Eye Care websites. We receive and store some of the information you enter on our websites or otherwise provide to us through these websites.

Information we collect or you provide on or through our Sites or through the use of our Services includes:

It also includes information you provide when you register to use our Sites, purchase products or use services available on our Sites or at our facilities. We may also ask you to provide certain information when you report a problem on our Sites. Some forms contain sensitive information, such as health information necessary to provide our services to you;

• Your responses to surveys that we may ask you to complete for research, development and marketing purposes; and details of transactions you carry out on our Sites and details of the fulfillment of purchase orders you make. Information that is collected automatically includes usage details, Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, session replay and recording technology (recording your movements, clicks, etc., on our Sites), and information collected by cookies, web beacons, pixel tags and other tracking technologies. As you browse or interact with our Sites, we may use automated data collection technologies (such as session replay and tracking technologies described above) to collect certain information about your devices or browsing behaviors and patterns, including in particular:

Location data. Information about your location is collected using geolocation technology. Global Eye Care’s mobile apps and services do not use Geolocation is generally used. However, the Global Eye Care App may collect and use geolocation information for the sole purpose of facilitating your check-in for a scheduled appointment. You may disable this feature on your mobile device at any time by deleting the permission granted to the Global Eye Care App to use location services.
The information we collect automatically may include personal data, or we may retain or associate the information we collect with personal data or information we collect in other ways or receive from third parties. These actions help us improve our Sites and provide a better service that provides a more personalized user experience, by enabling us to:

• Estimate audience size and usage patterns
• Improve the presentation of products and services
• Store information about your preferences, allowing us to customize the Site according to your specific interests
• Recognize you and/or verify your identity when you visit our Sites again

• The technologies we use to collect data automatically include:

- Cookies (or browser cookies). We or our service providers may use cookies, web beacons and other technologies to receive and store certain types of information when you interact with our Sites using a computer or mobile device. Email, Newsletter and Related Services: -

Our Sites allow you to communicate with us or third parties. For example, you may subscribe to Global Eye Care’s free email newsletter. You may unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time. If you would like us to stop sending you these emails, you may use the unsubscribe feature or link included in our marketing emails.

We may share emails you send to us via email links on our Site with customer service representatives, employees, medical professionals or agents who are best able to respond to your inquiries. We will make every effort to respond as soon as possible after receiving your emails. Once we have responded to your email, the emails will be deleted or stored, depending on the nature of your inquiry. Please note that emails you send to us via email links on our Site are not automatically encrypted, so it is possible that unencrypted emails may be accessed or read by another Internet user while they are in transit to us.

We conduct surveys of visitors to our site from time to time. We will retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide you with the Services, comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. For example, we may be required by state and federal law to retain certain data about you that may identify you, such as your medical records and other information. Your Rights Regarding Information, Access, and Correction:-

If you are a patient of Global Eye Care, you may access your health information through the Health Information Management Department. For more information on how to request medical records, send us your questions at https://gec.med.sa/?Sec=6 You may also request correction of your health information as a patient through the Health Information Management Department. You may request that your account be deactivated, but we will still be required to retain your health information under Saudi Personal Data Protection Law.

Security Measures:-

Whether you visit the Global Eye Care website or go to one of our clinics, we use appropriate security measures to protect the confidentiality of the personal information under our control, and we restrict access to it appropriately. We use a variety of information security measures to protect your online transactions with us. Global Eye Care uses encryption technology, such as Secure Socket Layer (SSL), to protect your personal information during data transmission. SSL protects information you transmit through our website, such as order information including name, address, and credit card number. However, Global Eye Care cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, and you transmit it at your own risk. Other than our online patient services, our Sites are not intended for users under the age of 18. No one under the age of 18 is permitted to submit any information to or through our Sites. We do not knowingly collect personal data from users under the age of 18. If you are under 18 years of age, do not use our Sites or provide any information to or through any of its components, including your name, address, telephone number, email address, or any screen name or user name you may use. If we learn that we have collected or received personal information from a user under 18 without verification of parental consent, we will delete that information. Our online patient services are available to patients 18 years of age and older. They are also available to patients between the ages of 13 and 17 with the consent of their parents or legal guardians.
